About Interacti Gaming

A platform built on the belief that gaming culture deserves the same quality of analysis and editorial care as any other major cultural medium.

Why We Built This Platform

Interacti Gaming was created to fill a specific gap in how gaming is discussed online. Too much gaming coverage falls into one of two camps: enthusiast sites that treat every release as an event, or mainstream outlets that approach the medium with visible skepticism. We wanted something different.

Our editorial approach treats games as designed experiences worth understanding on their own terms. We're interested in the mechanics that make games engaging, the cultural contexts that shape how they're made and received, and what player behavior can tell us about human psychology and preferences.

The interactive quizzes emerged from a similar impulse: rather than simply telling readers what to think about gaming, we wanted to give them tools to understand their own relationship with games more clearly.

Our Values

Editorial Independence

Our content isn't shaped by game publishers or advertising relationships. We cover what interests our readers and write what we actually believe, including criticism when it's warranted.

Respect for Players

We don't condescend to our audience or assume the worst about gaming culture. Our readers are thoughtful people who engage seriously with games, and our content reflects that.

Analytical Depth

Surface-level takes are easy to produce and quick to consume. We'd rather write fewer pieces with more substance — the kind of analysis that holds up on a second read.

Genuine Curiosity

We're interested in why games work the way they do, not just whether they're worth playing. That means looking at mechanics, design choices, and cultural context with equal attention.

Responsible Coverage

We're careful about how we discuss gaming habits and behaviors. We don't sensationalize or pathologize normal play, but we also don't ignore legitimate questions about how people relate to games.

Community First

The gaming community is diverse and often self-reflective. We try to represent its breadth accurately rather than centering any single subculture or treating any group as the definitive voice of gaming.

Editorial Approach

Every piece of content on Interacti Gaming goes through an editorial review process. For articles, this means a draft review focused on factual accuracy, followed by a structural review for clarity and argument quality. We don't publish hot takes designed purely for engagement, and we correct errors when they're identified.

For our quizzes, the process is more involved. Each quiz goes through multiple iterations with different testers before publication, with particular attention to whether the result descriptions feel accurate and insightful rather than generic. We avoid quiz formats that are purely flattering or that funnel users toward predetermined conclusions.

We don't accept sponsored content that we're required to present as editorial. When we write about games, tools, or industry topics, it's because we judged them worth covering on their own merits. We disclose any material relationships relevant to our coverage.
